Today’s going to be a practical episode sharing the easiest way to create a workshop series - why you’d create one, how to choose the content for your series, where to host it, how long it should be, and then also how to transition to selling or what your CTA should be — whether you’re launching or not.

Thinking of creating your own workshop series? Let me know what your biggest questions are!

So today, I wanted to talk about creating plans and then making progress…

For launches, for upcoming campaigns, for your new product, for a new business…

There are three things you need to know and do to make sure whatever you say you're going to do is something you CAN AND WILL make progress on.

Because if you make enough plans that don't come to fruition...you might start thinking...why bother? I’m not going to follow through anyway?

So this is what we need to do to make sure plans can actually be DONE.

We hear it all the time...warnings to avoid the launch rollercoaster.

Is it completely true that we should worry and avoid the coaster at all costs? Should we build something that will never have natural dips?

Everyone on the interwebs, teaching you about running your business...about launching, talks about the launch roller coaster.

You know...you launch live and it’s up, maybe you make revenue, and then it dips and you make nothing…

It’s feast or famine.

But is this true?

Yes, and NO, it doesn’t have to be this way.

Today we’re going to dive into:

  1. The launch roller coaster - what is it, who experiences it and why!
  2. Why people are telling you this is not a good thing to be on EVER if you want a sustainable business that brings in consistent income
  3. How to build your business theme park

So, if you've ever worried you are on the launch roller coaster, I'm hoping this will give you a new way to appreciate it, embrace it as a phase of your business...and only part of your bigger vision.

Today, we're talking about follow up and why it's so important whether you're doing a traditional live launch or not.

There are a few types of follow up you might have to complete today.

First, there’s the type of follow up we all need to do. Emails and voicemails and inquiries that need to be replied to... Today, make a list of some follow up you can complete, even if it has nothing to do with your launch. I like to set one day a week to make sure I’ve followed up with anyone who’s waiting for me to follow up!

If you don’t have time to follow up, still respond to someone and give them a real time you will follow up with them.

Second, when you are in launch mode, follow up is critical. It can be the difference between a sale and no sale.

Make time several times a week to respond to every email, social media message, comment and voicemail you receive.

Why?

Think of each one of those people as someone who may want to work with you, buy your product, and simply needs your help.

Leave no comment unanswered--on your blog, on videos, scour your Facebook groups. Do everything you can to close loops like this during a launch.

Launching requires confidence.

Confidence in yourself, your products, the results you deliver...and even confidence that you can help people!

People have different reactions to the fear of launching. You might not be able to squash those fears entirely, but there are 4 things you can do, skills you can build to allow you to actually launch (even if you’ve never done it before).

This week’s guest is Amy Latta, The Confidence Coach. She has some real, down to earth advice you can put in motion TODAY.

How important is writing effective marketing and launch copy to your launch results?

If you’ve ever had trouble writing copy, creating a sales page, writing the emails, or simply figure out WHAT TO SAY…today’s episode is for you.

Writing marketing copy can be one of the most challenging parts of the entire launch process.

Why? Because it’s not something you just master and then you’re good to go.

It’s a practice you need to keep doing, keep getting better at, keep honing...all through your business.

That’s why many seasoned entrepreneurs and business owners hire expert copywriters to help them write their sales pages, their emails, and even their social media messages.

Today’s episode is a recent Facebook Live conversation with one of the smartest sales and launch copywriters I know!

Christine Blubaugh is also a second-time co-host on the podcast. When I find amazing people, I always try to keep working, collaborating with them….so I had to bring her back!

If I were to ask you what “stage” of business you’re in...are you in the discovery or creation stage?

Are you in the “launch your business” stage? Or are you in the building phase?

My guest today has some ways for you to figure out where you are…

Michelle Ward, best known as the “When I Grow Up Coach” is joining the podcast today to talk about these stages and what we can learn even if we think we’re in the building phase!

Are you ready to break some rules in your business?

Our guest has some urgent information to share with you.

His latest book is one that he has called urgent, mostly because it contains information that could be outdated in just a year or two...but right not it’s powerful, detailed, and he’s ready to challenge what you know to be true about building your business.

Today, we’re speaking to author Nathan Latka about his latest book, “How To Be A Capitalist Without Any Capital.”

Now, I listened to this book, I read the book too…why? I consumed it in both ways because there’s a lot of refreshing perspectives that I just couldn’t leave to one format…

Nathan challenges what lots of online teachers and strategists are encouraging all of us to do...

Whether you agree with him or not, you’ll be left asking a lot of questions and coming to your own conclusions instead of simply nodding your head and continuing to accept everything you hear.

Let’s dive in.

If you’re eager to launch your business, you might be thinking about all the things you’ll create, what your products will be, how you’ll serve your audience, your coaching packages… fonts, don’t forget about fonts...

But that’s not all.

Business means you’ve got something to offer to people for sale after all, right?

Today we’re going to hit the pause button and do a little rewind (possibly).

But before you go down the path of creating your products first, consider what business you’re building.

Thinking of creating a product-based business?  Looking to add a physical product to your current digital offers?

If you’re not sure how to get started...today’s episode will show you what it takes even if you aren’t a designer, have never created a product before, or if you’re looking to add a product to your current digital line up.

We’re talking to Kristi Soomer founder of Encircled, an ethical clothing line based in Canada.

Before we dive into the conversation, ask yourself these questions:

-Do you have an idea for a product?

-What do you do first when creating a physical product steps?

-Do you need a website or blog?

-What’s the best way to get your product in front of people before you launch it?

-How do you design your product?

If you’ve been curious like I have been about creating a physical product business, this episode is for you! Kristi answers some of these questions while sharing her surprising story!

Are you going to launch soon? Or are you launching right now?

Then, you know that there are a variety of tasks, moving technical pieces, and jobs that need to get done to make that launch happen.

Am I right?

Landing pages, sales page, video script, webinar slides, writing your email, scheduling social media, coming up with the overall strategy and plan…

We’re being called on a daily basis to be copywriters, graphic designers, business strategists, paid traffic experts, CEOs, bookkeepers, and so much more in our business!

It’s no wonder why it often takes a whole lot of patience, time, and humility to get our products, services, and big ideas launched to the world.

So today, I’m going to talk about 4 of those roles you’ll playing during your launch, whether you’re working alone or with a team.

These are roles that you will need to assume if you are working alone--and most of us do start completely solo.

If you’re curious about the 4 people you need to become during a launch, this week’s episode is for you!

If you’re launching soon, do you have your coming soon or waiting list page up?

If you do, but aren’t getting anyone signing up to be on your interest list, no worries...today’s episode is for you.

One of the first places experience you and your business (and the thing you’re launching) is on your waitlist.

As soon as you set an exact or rough launch date, your waitlist is the perfect place to send people who might be interested in your product.

I know this sounds simple.

We’ve all seen the “coming soon” pages. We’ve seen the “enrollment is closed” pages...and we know that this page can be an important way to make sure people raise their hands, show their interest…

So today, we’re going to talk about 6 SUPER SIMPLE WAYS to get people to sign up for your waitlist.

You can (and should) start add these to your to do list TODAY! For full show notes, head on over to annesamoilov.com/218

Do you ever feel stuck in a rut in your business?

Day after day, week after week, you do the same things… never really trying anything new?

You’ve got your podcast and your webinars and your blog posts and your social. And not to say what you’ve got happening doesn’t work, but do you ever wonder if it could be better?

If you do wonder that, do you keep looking for that thing that will change, improve, or help you grow?

What about doing something slightly different--that doesn’t require you to change everything or hire anyone.

The best thing you can do is test something. Actually, start testing many things!!

That’s what we’re talking about today - why running tests is so important for your business.

So, if you’re ready to shake things up, today’s episode is for you.

What products do you want to create in your business?

If you’re not sure, today’s episode will give you some insights to help you decide.

Over the years, I’ve created many different types of offerings...some online courses, offline events, ebooks, coaching, memberships...and soon I’ll be diving into physical products.

For each type of offer there are ups and downs, challenges, and things to know before you invest a ton of time or energy.

When I took a look back at the various things I’ve offered (and how I’ve offered those things), I realized there were so many nuggets to share!

There’s something here for everyone.

While you’re listening, remember that there’s NO ONE WAY to do it! While you listen, ask yourself, what is right for you and your business.

How is your business going to look 5 years from now?

Even if you’re crystal clear on what you are creating, the people you want to help and the products you just KNOW you want to sell…

There’s a good chance things will change in ways you might not expect or anticipate.

And that’s what we’re talking about today on the podcast. Today’s guest and co-host has been in the Fearless Launching community since DAY 1.

She’s also someone who I’ve watched grow, evolve, re-invent herself...all while staying very clear on the vision for her business.

(and she’s seen all of my changes too!)

Catherine Just is a fine artist, photographer but more than that she’s someone who shows people how to welcome in huge transformation in their lives.

If you have been feeling stuck on what to launch first, overthinking getting something out to the world, or just can’t seem to get out of your own way to complete ANYTHING… this interview and conversation is for you.

Do you have a morning routine?

If you said yes, I’m curious exactly what you do.

If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably spent years, reaching for your phone, stumbling through the dark, mindlessly scrolling even before making coffee.

Whether that’s your email, social media, or your daily sales report...none of the above is a good way to start the day.

Those first critical moments in the morning are so important to your mental stamina, your mindset, the way you feel going through your day…

So, if you’re ready to harness the power of those half-dark moments (like I did), start feeling less anxious throughout the day, feel more energetic and just “on it” all day, today’s episode is for you.

We’re talking morning routines, but so much more…

Do you have an idea for a product, course, book or business?

If you’re in the dreaming phase where you’re considering all the options of how to get your idea into the world, today’s episode is for you.

I’m diving into the topic of product development (and improvement) with a woman I’ve worked with over the past few years...she’s a brilliant designer, but also pretty much is the only person I go to for tech questions.

Michelle Martello is my guest on the podcast today - but more than that, she’s my co-host as we dive into the topic of course creation, product development, what it really takes to create a first time product, how to launch, and so much more.

Whether you’re just getting started with your first product or you’re looking to improve an existing one, this conversation will spark some inspiration and ideas.
