Today we’re talking about why you need to have some Easy Mode projects in the mix of your biz and how to make them happen.

If you list out all the things you do in your business - the different types of projects, the different responsibilities, things you create, people you meet with… how many of them feel a tad heavy, maybe slightly stressful…and how many of them feel easy, light, and just a joy to do.

Now, we can’t have ONLY easy tasks in our business…we can love the easy and the more challenging things…but we can build in more things into our work that feel easy, that have a high ROI on our limited investment and time spent.

What easy-mode revenue streams, projects, and "side hustles" are you ready to share?

Today I’m taking you behind the scenes and encouraging you to step out of your launch bubble and pay attention to your business!

If you're knee-deep or heads down in the weeds preparing for a launch or creating a course or program...it's easy to let things slide in the other areas of your business.

This is why I’m doing a major clean up in other areas of my business this month, the process I'm using to make it happen, and why it's important!

Even if you’re launching, you may decide that you’re going to focus on a piece of that bigger project, maybe list building, maybe something you’re going to do to get you to your launch.

My suggestion is to choose the product or the service or the THING you want to launch, but be open to that changing throughout the challenge.

Tomorrow you’ll discover new things about what your audience is actually struggling with (as opposed to what you think they are struggling with).

This might be your toughest prompt of the challenge if you think you can multitask or have trouble sticking to one project at a time. Do it. Please. Resist the urge to take on multiple projects this month.

In today's episode, I'm reflecting on the 6-part podcast series I released a few weeks ago...and why I'm planning another series for February!

A 6-part series teaching you 6 critical concepts, mantras, and skill you need to have better launches this year!

Want to start making more sales, having better launches, and grow your business this year?

If you’re constantly chasing all the tactics and so-called launch strategies aimed to get you making more on autopilot or with zero hustle...but you STILL don’t feel like you’re reaching any of your goals, then I’m glad you’re here today.

I made something for you.

This is a very special episode of the podcast. I’ve created a short series of special off the cuff episodes because we are in a new year, a new decade...and I don’t know about you but I’m ready to leave 2019 behind.

As many of you know, I've experienced some things that have just kind of stopped me in my tracks personally in my personal life and I didn't want to get too far into 2020 without connecting with you.

But here’s the thing, these 6 episodes are going to be timeless. You’ll want to revisit them whenever you need to get back on track, screw your head on straight or get talked off the ledge…

So in this multi-part series, we're gonna keep it super simple and talk about the 6 things you need to remember, understand, and completely embrace as you start planning your launch, doing the work of putting together all the pieces, and even after you open the doors of your launch.

Each day I’ll post a new episode right below this and then you’ll be able to find all 6 episodes right here!

TODAY is all about the Power of Consistency

Are you interested in taking your side-hustle full-time?

Back when I first dove into the online business world, I wasn’t sure to be totally honest. I secured a job with Laura Roeder...because she had a business I could honestly see myself running someday.

I learned everything I could and finally took the leap...after two years of trying to manage own course launches of my signature program, Fearless Launching, I knew I owed it to myself to try.

If you want to hear that full story, make sure to dig into the podcast archives and listen to the episode where I share the whole story right here!

Todayyy I’m talking to Dr. Cortney Baker, someone who helps women do exactly that...turn their side-hustle into actual businesses.

Cortney has a LOT going for her...She’s a business growth strategist, she’s been named Texas Businesswoman of the Year. She’s also a CEO and founder of multimillion-dollar company Kids Care Home Health. She’s the creator of the from Side Hustle To CEO Academy.

Cortney shares with us some essential tips to help us transition to a full-time business owner.

Listen in, learn, and get motivated.

Highlights From The Episode:

[04:07] Getting to know Dr. Cortney and how she got started

[07:22] Cortney’s dissertation research

[10:29] Four main challenges that women go through in the corporate world

[26:14] Simple guidelines for people quitting their full-time jobs

Key Quotes from the Episode

“…you have to leave walking out as a CEO, as I’m a CEO, and I’m going to behave and hold myself to a higher standard than that because they may be a referral partner.”

“Whatever the plan is, as long as you make one and you get other people to help you with it, then you’re setting yourself up for success.”

“Getting other people on board, having them feel like they’re part of the business. That is the way you build confidence and trust in what you’re doing.”

“If it were easy, everyone would do it.”

“What can you do to solve a problem that really just pisses you off and be part of the solution?”

In this episode, my guest is a confidence coach, social worker, and therapist Kate Crocco. We explore what it takes to be and STAY visible as you're building a business.

Visibility, while you're navigating the start-up phase of any project, is hard...add making mistakes, struggling with personal life challenges, juggling kids...it can all lead to overwhelm...

If you find yourself unable to stay consistent, visible, showing up on a regular basis...you'll see your revenue dip. It's as simple as that.

But how can we show up when things aren't perfect? Kate shares the tips and advice she uses to guide her clients to business/life success.

Building systems, routines and rituals in your business is an important part of building a successful business. When you create habits in your business, they become systems you don't have to figure out over and over again.

That's why I set the Top 3 everyday, do my weekly planning session, and also why I like to ask/answer and reflect on 3 Important Questions.

Today's short episode will share those questions, how to use them in a mastermind group, and why they are a great first regular routine to create for your business.

Launching isn't all about action - you have to build in time for reflection, acknowledging your wins, and challenging yourself to do NEW things.

Visit annesamoilov.com to leave your answers to these questions!

See you next week!

Nov 17, 2016

It's that time of the year when we're reflecting, planning, and when we're thinking about our vision for the next year.

What I've found over the last three months is that I've been really inspired by some very unexpected, dare I say random, things.

I wanted to share those with you today because they might be inspiring to you as well and all of them are things that you can either see, do or seek out yourself!

Some of these are actual items, some of them are things that hit my inbox--and will give you a good insight into where to go for new ideas or maybe like a new take on something that you already want to do.

Maybe you have an idea but you just don't know how to kind of put it in motion.

Show notes are coming soon, but I just had to get this out there to you!

Mentioned during the show is my 2nd Live Launch Mapping class >> http://www.planwithmeclass.com happening this week!

After you listen, make your own list of things that have inspired you this fall and are still inspiring you!

Today's episode is a bit of a departure from our normal topic.

Yes, we're still talking about what it takes to launch your ideas into the world, but today, we're talking to author Karan Bajaj about sabbaticals. The idea might seem romantic or somewhat like a glorified vacation, but as you'll discover, there's a lot of power in taking an intentional time away from the goals and busy-ness to make leaps of excellence.

Karan shares some practical advice on:

*Signs you need to schedule your first sabbatical now

*How he took his first YEAR LONG sabbatical from a corporate job

*Why he's kept doing these sabbaticals every 4 years (and how he'll keep them going even with two small children!)

Plus, he shares some easy to implement ways for everyone to start building their own muscle for this type of break.

They struggled for years and years trying to make the side hustle their main thing work -- to get the chance to finally do what they were passionate about.

That story is a common one in some for one or another for many entrepreneurs...even me! That side hustle keeps you ignited because you push, you struggle, you create, whatever it is… but it propels you forward.

What happens when you get out of that phase of needing a side hustle - when it becomes a full time hustle?

Today's episode covers this topic and more as I explore -

  • why having a side hustle is important to most creative entrepreneurs
  • how starting passion projects can inject your business with renewed energy
  • gives your brain much needed break from your main business pursuit

And I also share three people who inspired me to start some side projects myself!
