Today, I'm walking you through a simple 10-minute process to help you map out your marketing for the next 12 months.

Here are some additional resources below to help you plan your launches and marketing activities for the coming year:

With all the talk online about how to scale your business, you might think that means you need to automate, set up some evergreen funnels, and be good to go. But is it that simple? Scaling means growing...and you get to choose how that happens and what it looks like for you. Today, I'll walk you through 4 questions I've been exploring and why they give you the clarity you need to start actually making your own plan to scale.

If you've ever thought about closing your online course or phasing out a product, this episode is for you. I cover some of the reasons you might want to sunset your course as well as how to actually handle the process in a way that keeps your current customers/audience happy and excited for you (and what's next).

In today's episode, I'll be talking about 7 (or so) qualities of being a better boss and leader. Whether you work alone or have a large team (or just a few people working with you), now's a great time to get your leadership game in place.

Being a boss is more than being a visionary who has everyone else "do the work."

We go into the following qualities:

  1. Don’t blame people on your audience or publicly.
  2. Let people do their jobs.
  3. DO NOT do community looms and expect everyone to follow along with your rattling of ideas/thoughts and half-thought-out projects.
  4. Clarify people’s tasks/roles and stick to them.
  5. Don’t hire close friends unless there’s a clear understanding of the end.
  6. Respect over Passive Aggressive Disrespect.
  7. Stop making everything personal.
  8. Be Approachable.
  9. Check in.

Make sure to check out our Monday Refocus sessions - a quick episode to get your inspired, motivated, and re-focused for the week ahead!

You'll also get invited to a free refocus session with me!

Ever considered taking an extended leave from your business or had something in life that forced you to take a break? Today, I'm sharing some of the biggest challenges to returning to business after a long break... If you want to know the most challenging part of returning...you don't want to miss today's episode.

Mentioned on today’s episode:

Tough Titties by Laura Belgray

Educated by Tara Westover

Time Genius: This is probably one of the most effective productivity courses I’ve taken - the way it’s organized and being a mentor - I go through it every single time. And this time I’m actually going to open a small non-facebook community for anyone who joins through my link. There will be a cap on the number I can take, but the group is completely free when you enroll in Time Genius - so if you want to know more about how we can work together. Get on this waitlist now and I’ll let you know all the details.

Let’s connect and chat over on Instagram.

Send me a DM! Let me know your thoughts about taking a long break from your business and what it’s like coming back!

I'll be back every Monday and Thursday with more episodes and inspiration as you start, build, launch, and grow your online business.

today, I’m inviting you to stand with me and commit to an important project this summer — your systems. I’m going to walk you through exactly why systems are so important and why now is a great time to tackle them!

So excited to talk about systems…because they are at the core of your business, they can make your day-to-day so much more joyful…and you no longer have energy leaks where you’re trying to figure out how to do [well, pretty much anything in your business].

Since we only have 1 more episode of this season of the podcast, I wanted to share what I’ll be focusing on over the next few months.

Systems.

Today, we're talking about changing, revising, updating, and even completely ditching your online courses and programs.

Unlike marketing, you don't have to wait for a specific number of people to experience your offer... you get to start making changes and you will want to make changes much sooner!

Today, I'll take you behind the scenes of my 12-month program - and what I discovered over the past 6 months.

https://annesamoilov.com/incubator

If you've been thinking your program could use some changes, don't wait, start thinking about them now, why you want to make them, and then how to get started.

Got questions? Interested in how to improve your own programs? DM me and let's chat!

Today, we dive deeper into 3 things that have come up along with an action challenge for you!

One thing - I’m putting a hold on true video episodes for the podcasts. We've got to get our systems situated before we add another platform!

I would love to hear how you feel about video podcasts and what would make them interesting for you! https://speakpipe.com/annesamoilov

There’s tons of advice out there telling online entrepreneurs how to build successful products, having successful launches. But what about the habits and practices to start doing that will support your launches?

Most small business owners spend very little time actually in launch mode. So why does it feel like we’re always in some state of launching?

Maybe because we’re avoiding the practices of running an actual business.

You forget that you’re running an actual business - which means doing boring, but important administrative tasks.

Today, we’re going to look at 3 areas that often get avoided -- intentionally and unintentionally.

We talk about:

  • how she does her launch debrief
  • questions she asks herself to know whether the launch was a success or failure

This is episode 276 of the Fearless Launching Show. Today we’re talking about that moment that happens for all online entrepreneurs where we ask the question -- do I really need another online course? Or do I need something more?"

This week I'm covering 5 actions you should take if you’re ready for something beyond an online course!

We all start needing to learn things. So we take the courses, we download things...and we get to work. Maybe we’re in this cycle of downloading and doing for years. At some point, I hear every single student and person I know utter the words, “ugh, I don’t think I need another course. I have plenty to apply right now.”

In today's episode, we're talking about why we should treat our launches like a system.

Today is also day 4 of our podcast series all about improving our launches and why going back to foundational concepts is the non-sexy strategy that will make launch overwhelm a thing of the past.

Today's episode is all about how your audience sees you. Have you ever felt awkward when someone shared their perception of who you are? It's weird, right? We are so much more than the definitions people put on us and yet...there's so much to be gained by letting our audience define us. Listen to this episode to find out the biggest gift your business can get and why you should embrace it!

Tell me if this sounds familiar.

You get an amazing idea for a product, course or something else you want to create and launch to the world. You start brainstorming all the amazing things … it literally comes pouring out of you.

Maybe right along with this brainstorm, you start talking to friends about it...because you are literally THAT excited.

Have you ever been so excited about your idea and then found out that it had already been done? Or maybe you knew that it was already done many times over, so you’ve spent years telling yourself, “Don’t you dare create that!” or “Don’t waste your time!”

Heck, I’ve had that same idea with my signature program Fearless Launching? How many people are teaching about launching, launch strategy, or some type of launching or even something related to launching? Let’s just say A LOT.

If you have experience this or are experiencing it right now, today’s episode is for you. You might just get you some simple tools to getting through those thoughts and creating something EVEN WHEN it’s being done by many other people.

If I were to ask you, who’s your audience, how would you answer?

The people who share the stories of their audience, past customers, current customers like they are relatives or old friends?

This is the one system I'm focusing on because typically I'm great at listening, watching, learning who people are and connecting with them...but truth is I'm not doing as much as could with the information.

That’s all started to change and I’d like you to join me and improve your own approach to understanding your audience.

Let’s dive into figuring out how to gather, understand and USE all the information FOR our audience.

Head to the show notes to the survey I talked about AND to get your research tracker download:

There's a funny thing about building a business...launching products, services, making money only....

Many times we'll be all about a revenue goal we want to hit or a number of subscribers we want to reach. How many people can we get to our webinars? What's our sales page conversion rate?

Are we so consumed by needing to reach the end result that we can't recognize the growth that happens in between.

This week - we wrap up the discussion of having a successful launch by talking about launching better, improving, and why that's JUST as important.

If you've ever suffered with list shame--not having enough people who've signed up for your email list or a lack of interaction with your mailing list...today's episode is for you.

We'll talk about:

  • how to find other venues you can and should count as your list
  • what key questions you can ask yourself to determine if it's a place your "list" lives
  • why you still want to aim for sending people back to opt-in on your website
  • how to focus your energy, save time, and build stronger connections with your audience.
