Have you ever compared yourself or your business to someone else?

If you’re saying - no, I kind of don’t believe you….

Comparing yourself to others is a pretty natural and it’s also completely normal thing.

And today - I’m sharing why it can sometimes it actually can be a good thing and how you can leverage competition in order to grow your business. And I'm so passionate about this topic because I see a lot of people let competition dictate what they dare to launch, create, and share with their audience.

And I don't want that to be you!

Once you listen, if you're ready to start planning out your next launch, want to go a little deeper into this topic, check out my free launch toolkit. Download it right here: http://www.annesamoilov.com/launch-toolkit-new

If you're looking for a great way to decrease your launch to do list...keep reading...

How much was on your plate this week?

It wouldn't surprise me - if you’re running a business, planning a launch, seeing clients, probably a lot.

So what’s the one thing you can do to keep up?

Re-purpose.

Now reusing content in the simplest sense, means revising, republishing, or updating content that already exists. You can change the format of it - video or audio to text or vice versa!

But - imagine if you had a library of material to pull from - emails, graphics, blog content, videos, audios, or other training.

Well, there's a good chance you've already got some of this going already.

But if you're not sure...here's a great way to start create a library - for your next launch.

At about the same time, Todd Herman's program The 90 Day Year was gearing up for it's first session of 2016.

Listen as I share exactly where I was in my business and why I knew this program would help me.

Today's episode is a bit of a departure from our normal topic.

Yes, we're still talking about what it takes to launch your ideas into the world, but today, we're talking to author Karan Bajaj about sabbaticals. The idea might seem romantic or somewhat like a glorified vacation, but as you'll discover, there's a lot of power in taking an intentional time away from the goals and busy-ness to make leaps of excellence.

Karan shares some practical advice on:

*Signs you need to schedule your first sabbatical now

*How he took his first YEAR LONG sabbatical from a corporate job

*Why he's kept doing these sabbaticals every 4 years (and how he'll keep them going even with two small children!)

Plus, he shares some easy to implement ways for everyone to start building their own muscle for this type of break.

So, you’re getting ready to launch your first product … or maybe relaunch an existing one.

Regardless of what you’re planning to release to the world, you’re likely looking to achieve something we pretty much all want when we’re growing our business — income for our families, our lives, and to keep growing our business.

Many people I’ve helped launch usually talk about how they’d simply like to make consistent monthly income with their small business.

I know it sounds simple, but who else has ever said that they just want consistent, steady, ongoing income every single month?

We’ve already seen it’s a possibility. I’ve shared my own story of going from Day Job to Side Hustle to Full Time Biz. If you missed those posts – check them out over here and here.

It’s possible. I know that from my own experience, but I won’t lie. It’s not easy to get there. It doesn’t happen over night…and you can run into a lot of resistance along the way.

Maybe you’ve run into some of the same resistance.

Join me today as I share some of the biggest myths I believed that almost stopped me from ever launching...or feeling like I was worthy to launch!

You’ve decided that you want to launch something you’ve been creating in your head or actually working on for months now.

An ebook. A group coaching program. A new blog. An online course. A webinar. A Blog series. A completely new business. A shop. A new product.

But when’s the right time to actually launch something? When are you, your business and your ideal customers ready for you to launch?

When you think of a launch, you probably think of a long list of tasks that need to get done...and who's going to have to do those...

Well, you're right, there are a ton of little things that need to be decided, delegated and done in order to launch a product or service (especially online). Along the way you may decide that you want to keep improving and perfecting all these pieces.

Nope! Not anymore...now, we're going to think about creating a CBB list...Could BE Better. In order to ship, you need to know when to let go and get something out the door instead of waiting for perfection to be attained.

If it's not broken and does what it's supposed to...keep moving. Put the CBB on a list and come back later.

Here's why I love my CBB list!

How often do you feel like you’re behind?

That somehow you’re late to the race, to the party...that you’re not moving fast enough or good enough...or enough period!

If you’ve ever felt that push, the anxiety, that feeling that you’re somehow not enough no matter what you do or how hard you push, then keep reading and listening!

I love momentum.

Momentum to me almost always feels like I’ve got so much amazing stuff to share that I can’t get it out fast enough… When I’m feeling momentum, I don’t get hung up on what I haven’t done yet, but I literally start taking massive action toward whatever big focus or goal I’m working toward.

Momentum in your business might feel like:

> your list is growing finally

> people are interacting with your social media

> people are emailing you

> you’re easily responding to every request you get

> you’re creating content without any “blank page syndrome”

> everything feels easy and flowing

> you’re finally spending time on the important things

> you’re making money and it doesn’t feel like you killed yourself for it

I’m telling you when things are buzzing along like this, running your business feels easier.

You might be rolling your eyes right now, but I’m telling you these things because there is a way to kickstart momentum.

Here are 5 ways to kickstart momentum ASAP!

Have a happy 2016!

Dec 23, 2015

Another year is coming to a close.

How did it go? Did your busy grow? Did it stay the same? Did you launch? Were you happy?

Perfect time to take stock of all the things in your business and life that happened. The good and the bad.

Because I always look for the lesson in whatever challenges me and my wins too, I sat down and thought of the biggest ones from 2015. They are likely not the first or last time I have talked or will talk about these lessons…

Running a business requires constant, ongoing improvement. So, here’s what I was reminded to improve every year. Again.

If you’ve ever wondered why you aren’t making a bigger splash, more money, growing at the pace you think you should, you might need to learn some of these lesson too. Read the full post here: http://www.annesamoilov.com/biggest-business-lessons-2015/

You’ve got this launching thing down.

You did your first product launch – not a lot of sales, but your list grew, you’re getting rave reviews about your program. You done good.

You are excited – a little pumped – and extremely proud of yourself. You feel like finallyyyy “you get it”.

But you’re feeling something else too.

EXHAUSTED.

You keep thinking, “I’m supposed to do this again?”

How are you supposed to turn back around and do another one? I mean really?
Another one? This year?

The emotional rocking that happens during a launch can’t really be understood until you go through it.  Putting yourself out there, putting your energy into a launch, being open to that success or failure. It’s draining on so many levels.

And – if it’s draining for you – it’s draining for your customers too.

But you can avoid launch exhaustion easily.

With what I like to call – A PLAN. (shocker, I know!)

Spend any time on social media, reading blogs, going to webinars, listening to business summits and you’ll hear one thing over and over.

You’ve got to outsource to grow.

And the idea is fine - it’s true. You need to delegate many things in your business.

But there are others who prefer to go it alone as long as they can - until they literally MUST hire people to help them.

Is this the wrong approach?

I say no...and maybe yes.

Today’s episode of the Fearless Launching show, I talk about three different paths you might choose depending on how new you are to business, your budget, your time frame and your experience with launching.

Hopefully, by the end you’ll know whether you’ll do it all alone, hire out completely, or take my third preferred option.

I’ve joined forces with one of my business besties Alexis Giostra today…and we’ve been talking lately about the year coming to a close.

We know that if you’re like us, you’re thinking about ending the year on a high note, saying thanks to your audience and supporters, and making some more revenue for your business.

Now, I know Alexis is the queen of executing ideas…the way she can turn those ideas around is insane! Truth is – I think the reason why it’s so easy for her are the secrets I’m going to share with you today.

We are constantly throwing ideas back and forth about sales, marketing, content creation…and it turns out we were both mulling over holiday promotion and launch ideas. So, today’s post is a bit of a crash course in some of the secrets of all those holiday promotions you see.

Plus – it answers a question I get all the time – is there ever a bad time to launch? Like the holidays?
